Ashes In The Wind

I am uncertain...
Of things I want and of things I can have,
I know...
That roosters would bark...
If you would just turn and look at me, for another second...

This is a pain, too much to bear...
Twisting the twig in this aching heart,
Filing all her aches, compiling all the her fear...
Bled and torn within herself,
Trying to pluck this twig that pricks like thorns...

Illusions of darkness, concealed...
Unaware of this grand charade...
Captured in this shadow, in the dark,
Release me to the light,

Let me fall from this cliff of darkness,
Maybe then I could find salvation in the valley beneath,
Let go of your grip,
Don't turn back for I will stay,

I have stayed, long enough...

Whisper to me no more,
As I will wait for you to finish,
Give me no more sugar,
As I will thirst for more...

Honey... I need to go,
Don't keep me hesitated,
Release me like ashes to the wind,
Cause you know... you know the answer...

You know you won't stop to give me a second look,
You know you won't...
So just turn me to the ashes in the wind...
Release me from my slavery...
