Unattended man

unattended man

Children lying,
women crying,
man is dying,
what is this world doing?
acting like babarians,
why is this?
everyone suffering all because of fame and greed.
do they deserve to suffer?

we are all human,
warmed with blood,
think with sense,
with a loving heart,
yet fame is blurring love.

where is the mankind we see?
where is all the love and care?
will human ever wake from this horrifying dream,
dream of power and gold?

all the tears is flowing away,
but none touched by it?
when will peace be in all of us,
with mankind without the kind.

Not to be mean (maybe it's because I'm studying poems on the perceptions of death and I've become a bit perceptical), but this peom doesn't seem to touch me much. It's nice, but for my case easily forgetful. But it is really good, I'm sure you can do well.

God bless.
